About MedFirst Urgent Care

In early 2003, a group of local emergency room physicians and healthcare executives recognized the need for a medical facility that could provide urgent care for non-life threatening emergency situations. These healthcare professionals understood that the public needed a place to be treated for minor illnesses and injuries when doctor’s office had closed for the day.  Providing a convenient option for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, instead of experiencing a long wait in the emergency room just made sense.

Consequently, the concept for MedFirst was born. MedFirst was created with your medical needs and convenience in mind. Designed by caring, compassionate, board-certified emergency room physicians, MedFirst offers the medical expertise that you and your family would expect from your own personal physician or an emergency room physician.
