Video fluoroscopy

Description
Video fluoroscopy is a type of fluoroscopy that uses a video to capture and store the image. A fluoroscopy is the collection of x-rays while the patient performs an act such as swallowing. The images enable the doctor to watch the function of the body in real time motion. It is commonly used to study the function of the lungs and diaphragm, the bones of the neck and to analyze swallowing.

Common Complications
Complications are rare. There is some exposure to radiation form the x-rays involved.
