UA (Urinalysis)

Description
An urinalysis is a standard test of the urine that is used to detect infection, injury, and other diseases. The urine is analyzed for the presence of protein, blood, glucose and other substances. The urine is also examined under microscope for white blood cells, red blood cells and bacteria. The presence of white blood cells indicates an infection and red blood cells are seen in traumatic injuries, kidney stones and other diseases.
