Cost
Check back again, iTriage will soon be listing cost information for procedures provided by Healthcare Blue Book.

Common Complications
The surgery can result in post-operative pain, infection or blood clots of the legs (deep vein thrombosis) or lungs (pulmonary embolus). Patients can infrequently have bad reactions to the general anesthesia including allergic reactions and very rarely a heart attack or stroke. The medications used to prevent rejection depress the immune system leading to increased infections. Some of these infections can be life threatening.
