Description

PUVA is UVA (ultraviolet light A) combined with the medication psoralen to treat psoriasis. Psoralen can be applied topically or taken as a pill. UVA alone is not effective. PUVA works the best on gutate psoriasis, stable plaque psoriasis, and psoriasis involving the soles of the feet and palms of the hands.

Common Complications
