Lip augmentation (enlarge lips)

Description
A surgical procedure to increase the size of lips using either tissue fillers or fat. Tissue fillers, such as Radiesse and Restylane, are used to restore lost volume in the various areas of the face including the lips.

Common Complications
Poor cosmetic result. Surgery can result in post-operative pain, infection or blood clots of the legs (deep vein thrombosis) or lungs (pulmonary embolus). Patients can infrequently have bad reactions to the general anesthesia including allergic reactions and very rarely a heart attack or stroke.
