KUB (Xray of abdomen)

Description
A KUB (kidneys, ureters and bladder) is an abdominal x-ray performed to look for problems with the kidneys or bladder. The test is done to look for kidney stones, intestinal blockage or other abnormalities of the abdominal organs.

Common Complications
A KUB requires only a small amount of radiation and is considered a safe procedure.
