A flexible tube is inserted into the uterus and washed sperm are inserted into the uterus. The procedure is done just after the ovary has released an egg (ovulation) in an attempt to create a pregnancy.

Common Complications

Pain, cramping, infection and multiple pregnancies. The patient may not become pregnant.
