Immunosuppressant (reduce immune system response)

Description
A medical treatment to suppress the body's immune system and its ability to fight infections or disease. This can be induced with drugs, or radiation, and can be helpful in preparation for bone marrow or other organ transplantation to prevent rejection of the donor tissue. It may also result from certain diseases such as AIDS, lymphoma, or drugs like chemotherapy.
