HLA B27 ( human leukocyte antigen B27)

Description
HLA-B27 ( human leukocyte antigen B27) is a blood test to look for specific protein found on the surface of white blood cells. Patients that have the HLA B27 protein are more likely to develop autoimmune diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis and Reiters syndrome.
