GreenLight PVPTM (Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate)

Description

Description

GreenLight PVPTM (Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate) is a laser treatment that reduces the size of prostate enlargement seen in patients with Benign Proatatic Hypertrophy (BPH). During the procedure a thin fiber is inserted into the urethra through a cystoscope and green laser energy is applied to the prostate removing enlarged prostate tissue. The reduction in the size of the prostate enables better urinary flow by making more room for the urethral passage.
