Glucose tolerance test

Description
The glucose tolerance test is a laboratory test to diagnose diabetes. A patient is given a glucose drink and glucose levels are then measured to determine how well a patient metabolizes diabetes. It is used in patients with mildly elevated fasting blood glucose and at 24-28 weeks of pregnancy to identify diabetes.
