Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)

Description
A procedure in radiology which uses magnetic waves to view functional characteristics of the brain or other organs by detecting changes in chemical composition, blood flow, or both. It can be used in the detection of brain tumors, strokes, multiple sclerosis and other conditions.
