Endoscopic plantar fasciotomy

Description
A tube with a camera (endoscope) is inserted through two small incisions in the foot. The inflammed tissue is removed and the plantar fascia is removed from the heel. It is felt the endoscopic approach enables quicker healing than the open technique which requires a larger incision. The foot can be numbed at the ankle or the patient can be given general anesthesia.
