Endometrial biopsy (Uterine biopsy)
Description
A procedure in which a tissue sample is taken from the lining of the uterus (endometrium). The tissue is examined under a microscope to diagnose cancer and help determine why a patient is abnormally bleeding.

Common Complications
Pain, injury including perforation of the uterus.
