Brain MRI with dye

Description

Description

MRI is magnetic resonance imaging, a special imaging test that does not use xrays. This procedure provides very detailed images of the brain, structures of the face, and sinuses. In general a MRI is better than a CT scan at determining acute strokes, infections and cancers . An intravenous dye called gadolinium is sometimes used to obtain better images.
