Brain CT (CAT) scan without dye

Description
A special xray that enables a doctor to see abnormalities of the brain. This test is most often used to detect brain injuries, bleeding in the brain, strokes, brain abscesses, and skull fractures.

Common Complications
There is a small risk of radiation. It is felt this risk is greater with babies and children.
