Description
Arthroscopic surgery involves the insertion of a tube with a camera into the joint and examination of the inside of the joint. Many times the problem can be identified and repaired at the same time. Many joints can be repaired with this procedure but the knee is the most common.

Common Complications
Complications include injury to the joint, ligaments, cartilage, nerves or blood vessels. All surgery comes with the risk of infection and blood clots. General anesthesia runs the risk of allergic reactions or breathing problems.
